Ferranti 145 aerial connection? - UK Vintage Radio Repair and Restoration Discussion Forum

Hello,

I have a Ferrant 145 which is working perfectly. I moved the radio recently but in doing so dislodged the aerial cable and it became disconnected from the radio. Taking the back of the radio and inspecting the insides it is not obvious where the aerial plugs into.

Can anyone help me locate where the aerial plugs into?

Hi Archie

Welcome to the forum these "Jelly Mould" Ferranti's are good looking sets.

With the back of the set facing you the aerial socket is on the Chassis.

It's the top left it should be marked "A"

If I remember, and if someone else doesn’t beat me to it, I’ll take a photo of where the aerial connects on mine.

Here you go, the aerial connects to the top hole in the connector I’m pointing to with the green thing.
