Super NES from Australia
My DIL is trying to get her childhood Super NES from Australia back into use in the UK, to amuse her children during lockdown. There is only an RF out available, nothing else. Unsurprisingly, their reasonable modern tv cannot tune anything on its analogue tuner as I think the standards and maybe frequency differed Uk/Aus.
Can anyone confirm this please ? From what I can make out, the TV seems to only have UK channels and PAL-I. Not my expertise and trying to help over a video call is not easy. Tks Ken |

Re: Super NES from Australia
if its like the uk the rf was an external plug in which you could unplug and fit a snes av lead with the yellow white red av plugs on other end
like this other can be found https://www.amazon.co.uk/Composite-R...80701938&psc=1 |

Re: Super NES from Australia
Australia was PAL ‘B’ and RF modulator may have been VHF

Re: Super NES from Australia
RGB SCART cables are available for the SNES. It would be better than RF/composite.

Re: Super NES from Australia
Indeed, that’s what is on order.
