Default Classic 500 Series Tek, S1

hello friends,

I have searches all over, also asked in the US Forum,
there is no knowledge about this. So I ask you also for any informations about Classic Tek Scopes - S1

A friend have restorated a Tek 535S1.
I have never seen one before. In my collection are only 2pcs 535A.
There was also an earlier 535 nonA

Kurt (the wonderful Tek Wiki) have also no entrys about any S1 TYPE.
I have written to classictek.org (no reply is typical for them! )

I can only tell about differents to the 535A:

All Classis Tek have TIME BASE A and B.
S1 have Main SWEEP and DELAYING SWEEP
and some more, like 2 switches, another front plate of coarse.

The delay line inside looks like an old series Tek, with round ceramic trimm capacitors.

I have permission to use the pictures, also we will insert them in the Tek wiki.
Many thanks to all for any informations about Classic Tek with S1 Suffix.

greetings
Martin

I can close the question,

thanks to Jimmy in the US Forum

its a mod !

Quote:
In Type 535 and 545 the total delaying sweep time is limited to10 msec/cm.
If a total delaying sweep time in excess of 10 msec/cm is required, a K535-S1 modification kit (Tek #040-063) \which gives a maximum delay sweep range of 1 sec/cm. This kit was available for $40.00 in 1959 including a new front panel.
