Default Ultra Radiogram RG84

Hi, I have an Ultra Radiogram RG84 that is in need of restoration. I am looking for advice on how to re-varnish it. Any tips would be welcome

I would not re-varnish it. Sand off all the old (Polyester?) varnish back to the grain.
Then finish with several coats of Danish Oil, sanding with a very fine grit paper in between.
