Default Blaupunkt Radiola. Broken light pull cord.

Hi friends,
Hope everyone is well in these strange times. I have a peculiar problem. I have a Blaupunkt Arkansas radiola (1958) with a drinks cabinet. The light in the drinks cabinet is switched on and off with a tug cord, which has recently come undone. I can't see into the hole in the ceiling of the cabinet to retie a new cord, and I can't seem to see how the ceiling of the drinks cabinet can be removed. Any advice?
