UNI 02M Remote Control
I have lost the instruction sheet for this universal remote control, and, as a result, cannot set it up for use with anything. Googling for info produced no results, so does anyone have the instructions, or know from where I can get them, please?

Re: UNI 02M Remote Control
I understood that it was a UNIVERSAL Remote Control. i.e. that it could be set up to control TV, VCR, DVD, etc., of (almost) any make by putting in a code. I was planning to use it with a Hitachi VCR, model VTM-430E(UK), but, as previously stated, I have lost the instructions for the UNI02, and with them, the list of codes to use.

Re: UNI 02M Remote Control
Hi Michael, not much help here, but there are some very cheap universal remote controls around. I saw some in Poundland, yes £1. Looked OK. as well, can't remember if it came with batteries!!

Re: UNI 02M Remote Control
Vince- Thanks for all the info, and link to the Philex Website. Seems I can, after all, only use the 02 to operate Sony equipment. Might get one of those £1 controls from Poundland, though, Paul

Re: UNI 02M Remote Control
I can confirm that the Poundland RCs work OK with a range of gear, but functions appear on incorrect buttons in some cases, so be prepared to experiment!

Does the Poundland one come with batteries? Sometimes, some of these bargain electronics do. Amazing. |
