Default BBC high impedance headphones.

Hi could any one please tell me if high impedance magnetic headphones are wired in series or parallel? They are 2000 ohms each ear.

Thanks Mick.

If you're asking how they're wired, check with a meter across the lead or plug.

If you're asking how they should be wired, presumably for use with a crystal set, the answer is in series.

Reach for your meter before you reach for your soldering iron.

You'll probably find that the harness is permanently wired in series.
