Default Rugby Radio Rally Sun 18th Aug

Don’t go by the title, this excellent rally is actually held near Princethorpe just off the Fosse Way in Warwickshire. Not far from the location of the NVCF.

I’ll be selling with my son so say hello if you are passing.

I will be there as well. Usually plenty of interesting things in the club tent.

Fortunately my son understands that even when dad has a stall he still needs to check out the opposition. He held the fort really well.

Found a nice pair of headphones, a Perdio cardboard set and a nice HMV transistor set with padded sides and bass and treble. No idea of the model number but have wanted one for a long time. Seized tuning cap, never seen this before on a British set, thought this was a German set trait.

Sold a fair bit and most wonderful of all it didn’t rain!

A good day all ‘round.

I bought a nice huge Marconi ex military signal generator and from the same chap a Marconi tube volt meter. I also came away with a beautiful wooden tripod and a heavy power supply unit.

The Marconi is still in the boot of my car. I just need to find the energy to move it.
