Default Re: Unsold Pre-War TV sets

In the 1950's when new furniture (and timber) was in short supply, Dad used to recycle old TV and radio cabinets by turning them into bedside and bathroom cabinets, and I have seen old console TV cabinets turned into drinks cabinets, so some may have escaped the flames.
