G & E Bradley_ counter 234.
All I can find is a makers specification sheet of 1987, which I attach. Bradley was owned by Lucas Industries and was sold in 1987 to Pulsetek. They mainly produced AC and DC voltage calibration units and also a 100Mhz Oscilloscope of known "reliability", model 200, an interesting 1Ghz Sampling Adaptor model 158, the 156 and 192 Oscilloscope calibrators (very good) and the CT471/471B transistor multimeter, which was well known but suffered from whiskery OC171 transistors. When they are replaced, it makes a very useful unit indeed. Much better than the Avo CT471A which has a very short battery life. I have these and other Bradley/Pulsetek manuals (123, 125B, 125C, 134, 156, 158, 171B, 187 counter timer, 192, 200, 232 AC calibrator). But not your 234 counter. Pulsetek I think have disappeared now also. wme_bill. |

Many thanks. Very interesting more info than I have been able to find. Hopefully some one will have the circuit diagram.

Hi BOBCO21,
I have a 234 counter/timer and what may interest you more also have the full manual. I can email you copes of the cct diagram if you like. Mine has just thrown a wobbly & I'm trying to repair it. A lot of the ICs are 'obsolete' but have found most of them, Had a lot of fun making copies of the ccts and put them onto A3 sheets so at least you can read them. |
