Default Kolster Brandes 14"console TV model JF40

Hello Everyone

I bought the above TV last week from Selby. It had been restored by the owner some years ago, capacitors changed, wiring replaced. It has a good Raster on it and when connected to the Aurora it will display a distorted picture. I don't have any knowledge of these sets, apart from they can be very dangerous, so I'm not about to go poking around in the back. It has had a tuner fitted many years ago so it could receive ITV.
I'm in Stockport Cheshire and was wondering if there is anybody in the North who could have a look at it. I really want to use it and not to just be an ornament in the room. Hoping someone can help.
Kind Regards
John

That looks like a very poor aerial connection from your Aurora or a broken wire on the back of the TV aerial socket.

Check your Aurora is adjusted to the channel that matches your coil set in the TV tuner, John.
