PS, having been rummaging in mum's loft, I think I need to talk to you some time regarding disposal of a couple of items - unfortunately my house hasn't got any bigger since you collected the A8 with gram unit and stand from me all those years ago!

This Graves receiver was found in an attic.
Is this the Regional Three model?

Certainly looks like the illustration in Radio-Radio!

Wonder why they marketed two such similar sets at around the same time - about the only significant difference appears to be the inclusion of a volume control (by rheostat in SG filament circuit) on the 'Screened Grid Three'.

That's interesting, I knew J G Graves was a Sheffield man and something of a public benefactor - does the library hold much material on the company itself?
