Default Grundig Satellit 2000

Hi all
I have just got hold of another grundig satellit radio I did have a previous post for a 2100 this time its a 2000 it has the same middle tuner seized which people have told me about possible cures but the selector buttons on top FM works fine everytime but the others some you hold down and they work or if you hold it half way down they work.
they are all clicking into place so nothing broken do they need cleaning some how.
many thanks in advance.

Sounds like the switches need cleaning with a spray on type switch cleaner such as Servisol Super 10:https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Super-Ser...-/222996429651

You will most probably need to gain access to the actual switches to spray them, requiring an amount of disassembly (I couldn't say for sure), then spray them (the contact parts), then operate the switch buttons many times to help the cleaner do its job.

You don't say what it is, but I'd think it would be ok, it should be the same sort of thing, there's quite a few of them around and mostly similar in what they do.

The push-buttons of this radio can give problems due to poor construction. Check the top of all the switches. A small piece of plastic holds the spring in place - if the plastic breaks, the radio cannot switch the bands properly anymore.
