Default GPO/BT 704 and 705 linesman phones

I've acquired a number of these phones, all of which have green cases. I understand that BT also used a version in yellow. Anyone know of these/seen one? I'd love to add one to my collection! Sad, I know.........

The ones I have in yellow cases are 286s rather than 704s. All my 704s are green.

Are 286s not push button whereas 704s & 705s dial?

Likewise, thanks for the link - which does indeed confirm the introduction of "Buzby" yellow while the 705 was still in use.

Oh dear, another gap in my collection for me to seek to fill. Does anyone know how common they were? I've never seen one for sale.

Many thanks for your responses, and for the link in particular. The picture is interesting, and has whetted my appetite for adding one to the (growing) collection of linesman's phones. Who will be first to get one I wonder?
