Default Help Identifying A Pye Set

Hi all, I picked up a set last Friday just on a whim and because it was cheap. Originally my thoughts were to turn it into spares but when I actually picked it up I looked at it and am tempted to give it a chance. The only problem is... I can't identify it!

There is no model number on the rear panel and the only mark I can see is the Pye sunburst logo on top. I know its shabby but that shouldn't be a bad thing to start with.

Any clues would be gratefully received!

Its very similar to the PYE 835 but a better identification may be achieved with some pictures of the Chassis and the valve line up.

It could also be a Pye 834. Here's the restoration thread relating to mine. I hope you have better luck with the tuning flywheel and mains transformer. If both are knackered like mine then I hope you enjoy a challenge! https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...d.php?t=179688 Cheers, Jerry

Thanks Gentlemen. I will get it out of the car and take it to bits. That will give me the look inside. The only reason I havent yet is the bench is covered in bits of other radio.

Many thanks once again.
