Default Bush TR82 handle clips removal?

Hi
Anyone got experience of how to remove these clips please ?

Hi Pete the clips can be a pain to remove , I use a fine pointed tool to lift the clip near to the brass spindle ,the two handle fixings were some I cast in resin not got round to fitting them yet . Mick.

I made a couple of tools from silver steel wire sharpened to a point and bent over, to poke under the clips and ease them away from the stub on which they're mounted. Any attempt to do it any other way just causes the clip to dig in harder, which of course is exactly what they're designed to do.

Several on the inside of KB FB10s holding the dial glass in place.

So easy to snap the pegs off if care isn't taken.
