Default Another French radio added to the collection

As it's my birthday today a young 73 ouch where did that go , I treated myself well my wife bought it using my money I am trying to get my head around that one . to say it's a 1930's radio it is in remarkable condition , loads of caps plus a few resistors needed replacing to get it working ,it's a 110volt radio it would have had a line cord , to drop volts for the heaters, I fitted a 25 watt resistor instead , so much for down sizing now off to sample a drop of the amber nectar, Mick.

What an interesting little set who is the manufacturer? I've just finished restoring a Gody Abel-Amboise set.

There was 110V mains in France until comparatively recently. It's quite common to find 110V radios. After France standardized on 230V you could buy 110V transformers for use with old radios.
