r 600 ferrite rod replacement
Hi Everyone, I have just joined and am happy about all the enthusiasm in this forum re old and valuable items from the past, when things were made how they should be.
I grew up with valve amps and repairing old reel to reel tape recorders... I now have a history as a musicial with various home recording studios... My newly acquired Roberts R 600 arrived damaged the wooden base broken in half, and the ferrite rod shattered into many pieces Any help in a replacement ferrite rod would be great !!! |

Re: r 600 ferrite rod replacement
Hi, welcome to the forum, it is possible to glue the rod if it is not too badly damaged and all there. Think jigsaw puzzle.
John.

Re: r 600 ferrite rod replacement
Do you have the rod dimensions? Somebody probably has something suitable in the junk box.
I may have a spare wooden base somewhere, though you can probably repair your broken one with a bit of epoxy glue. |
