Can anyone shed light on this which I found in with some old valves? It looks new and measures 0.25R as stated. Inside is a tiny valve.

Photos coming later as computer refusing to load at the moment.

I am still unable to upload photos which are 80KB- they uploaded OK just now in Hotmail and were received fine too . After about 10 seconds I get 'Server error message .unable to respond at the moment Contact your Network adviser' but this does not occur within other websites .I am on University computer.Never had trouble before.
As a test ,would someone give me an email address to send photos to and then they could upload them .I have just had memory card scanned and no faults were found.

Unless I have misunderstood the description, this is a vacuum thermocouple junction which is a very delicate device used for precision true rms conversion.

If you don't have a use for this device yourself, I would be very interested in acquiring it, but please don't test it unless you have full data as it will be very easily damaged.
