Default Telequipment S51A scope mains transformer

Hello, anyone who might have a mains transformer for a Telequipment S51 oscilloscope? (Eventually a wrecked scope)

I dug out a couple of Telequipment tfmrs yesterday neither out of a S51A but one or both might do the job having similar voltages. Will test today and get back to you Thorvald.

Andy.

At a guess, the transformer in the S51E educational scope may be the same, and I think there were many more of that variant sprinkled around the country by Nuffield science courses. They crop up at radio rallies, though the tube rollers may have been after their ECC££s

Worth noting that the early version of the S51E did have the same transformer as the S51A. However, the later S51E was a derivation of the S51B which used a transformer with different secondary windings from the S51A plus modified EHT circuitry.

Hi Thorvald, If you have the transformer it would be possible to reverse engineer and rewind it.
