Default Tannoy Mercury M3 (or equivalent) Tweeter

This is a big ask, has anyone out there got a tweeter for the above speakers?
The reason I'm asking is simple, I recently dealt with the dodgy electrolytics on the crossover board, both boards have been fully tested with sig-gen/scope prior to re-fitting.
The sound system has been fired up today to find a tweeter non-functioning, it would be great if someone out there could help me to find one, all costs will be met of course.
Living in hope, Rick.

I'm not sure if Lockwood's might be able to help http://www.lockwoodaudio.co.uk/tannoy.htm.

Cheers,

GJ

May or may not help.....I had a Mercury with a dead tweeter. he voice coil wire had been attacked with a green mould just where it left the speaker. By carefully unwinding a single turn I managed to resolder the wire to the terminal.

Thanks for the input so far.
The best thing to do at the moment would be to remove it again and see what resistance reading I get out of it.
A repair is a possibility if I had the patience!
32 for a new one would not surprise me in the least, it could be worse, it could cost hundreds!
All the best, Rick.
