Default HP16700A Logic analyser & 'scope with 16534A & 16751A

I got this a long time ago and only ran it up once in 2019, according to the dates on the photos. It comprises the mainframe running HPUX and one 16751A, 400 MHz State, 2 GHz Timing, 68 Channel Logic Analyzer Module with 16M Memory plus a 16534A, 2 GSa/s 2-Channel 500 MHz BW Digitizing Oscilloscope Module.

Everything is there, including the original mouse and keyboard and the probes which are probably the most valuable parts. I think that only one of the scope channels is working properly and I'm not sure about the logic part as I didn't really know how to drive it. It did something.

There's a nice antique copy of Netscape for HPUX on it, from 1994. I've put a lot of photos here: http://stock.org.uk/16700A/

No guarantees but the buyer is welcome to try it when collecting. If you want it shipped, PM me to discuss, it's a large lump. Finding a box may be a problem but I can try.

200 collected or contact me about shipping.

That's a powerful unit. I have a similarly-configured 16702B on the bench here. Apologies if you already know this, but the boards in these analyzers suffer badly from corrosion because of the adhesive foam used to stick some protective plastic strips on their undersides. The 16534A scope modules suffer particularly badly. Working ones are quite valuable, much more valuable than the mainframes, because of this. If yours is working, peel those strips off and clean off any adhesive residue as soon as you can!

I am somewhat tempted although I have for some time been considering more modern and compact options such as the DsLogic, Hantek 4032 or even saving up for a Saleae. I have also considered the Rigol 5000 series. I am also concerned that these big beasts, apart from being heavy and having to sit in a fixed position on a desk somewhere, are somewhat limited by the memory capacity available in the day?

It turns out that this equipment is rather bigger than I had anticipated and unfortunately I cannot accommodate it so have withdrawn my interest. Hopefully it will still find a new home.
