Default "Really Useful Boxes" in B&Q

I don't have a huge stock of components, so haven't got a workshop wall lined with drawers. Instead, I keep smaller items in a tray of 16 "Really Useful Boxes".

They are a bit too small and I have to bend long leads round to get items in the boxes, but a snap-on lid keeps everything in place.

They retail at £10 or over, so was really pleased to pick another set up for just £2 in B&Q Stevenage yesterday. They had quite a few left, but can't see them appearing on the website, so not sure if other stores are offering the same deal.

Regards,

SR

Good find, it is always fun to sort out ones bits and then forget where you put them!

I have a set of them too - useful for storing HC18U crystals, transistors, bulbs, 4mm plugs/sockets, odd nuts&bolts.

Alas I find they're just-not-quite-long-enough to store the odd end-of-run 'bandolier' taped 0.5/1-Watt resistors which I use quite a lot of.

Small-bore heatshrink-sleeving can be folded-to-fit.
