Default Scopex 4D25

I am new here, so hello every one!

I am new in electronics but a couple of days ago I got hold of a vintage Scopex 4D25. It came as spares or repair with no manual and before I start off destroying it,
I would love to have a look and service/user manual.
Would any one have a copy in .pdf, please?

Thanks you in advance!
Arthur

Arthur

The Racal 9386 oscilloscope is a re-badged Scopex 4D25.

I uploaded a copy of the Racal service manual to KO4BB some time ago.

****A word of caution*****

Very high voltages (greater than 2000 VDC) are present on the main PCB on tracks identical, and next to, low voltage tracks.

If you are new to electronics and electronics repair I would advise against repairing an oscilloscope as your first project!!

They can bite very hard!!!

If you need this one repairing, then please get someone experienced to help you and to make sure you dont make any painful (or worse) mistakes!

Regards

Peter

Peter,

Thank you for the upload and piece of advice.
In fact, I meant to get to know the device rather than get it up and running again. But maybe one day... who knows

Thank you
Artur
