Default Two music centres FOC.

These two music centres were left by the previous owner of my house:

The first is a GEC from around 1976. Powers up and all functions work, but will need a proper overhaul. Buttons and pots crackly etc. Comes with the original speakers. Features extra speaker sockets (labelled 'ambio') to make a 4-speaker set-up. I think I may even have the GEC promotional 45 rpm record that went with it, featuring David Jacobs and Judith Chalmers no less!

The second is a Pye (Philips) Silver Machine, circa 1981, with original speakers. I've spent quite some time cleaning this one up and it looks pretty good. I also treated it to a new stylus although it does tend to jump a bit on loud records- possibly the stylus seating in the cartridge has hardened slightly with age. Cassette deck plays OK but would benefit from a new belt.

Perspex lids on both music centres are in good condition with very few marks. One owner from new.

Any interest? Both offered are free for collection from me here in Ilkeston, Nottingham/Derby area.

Steve
