Re: Replacement 4 ohm speaker help please
Hi All.
Update i picked up the very kind of the free speakers from Nick today he also gave me another set of speakers. Now have a set of Wharfedales Glendales XP2 and a set of Celestion DL6. What a diffrence they have made to the sound on my music center i really cant beleve it, But i now cant decided which ones to use they both sound great, i shall have to spend some more time swaping them over time and time again . A great big thank you to Nick once again for his increadable offer of these speakers And thank you to all who took the time to comment and help me on this. Rog Off now to swap the speakers again to try and decided |

Re: Replacement 4 ohm speaker help please
Makes a difference with a pair of decent speakers, I had a pair of celestion speakers some years ago and liked them, but those will be a major improvement on the ones supplied,
Enjoy listening to your music, you'll notice things that you didn't before, Regards, Alan. |

Re: Replacement 4 ohm speaker help please
That's good.
What you've run into is the issue that loudspeakers are the chief limiting factor in most audio systems. Hifi aficionados can get rather snooty about all sorts of things and overlook this small fact, but it doesn't go away. There are some fine and generous people on this forum, I find. David
