Default Grundig SVR 4004 restoration

Hi,

I am about to undertake the challenge of restoring a rare Grundig SVR video recorder but the service manual ( in any language) and/or circuit schematics are proving elusive.

Whilst I await a set of replacement elcos for the power supply, I was wondering whether anyone here had a paper copy of the service manual or scan they would like to sell or lend me.

And if anyone could provide any heads up on gotchas that would be much appreciated.

Rob

Hi. You can find some schematics here:
https://www.radiomuseum.org/r/grundi...vr_4004_e.html
Also, the Grundig V2000 model 700 or the 2x4 plus 770 might have similar circuitry to the 4004.

Thanks Fivos. It didn't have all the information I wanted but at least the voltage rails are specified.

I may have the manual, not present, maybe I have several of them!
This is a question of time - I don`t have for the moment.......

Best regards,
