Default proudly present full resolution with the cxl5506

Hi, I made a screenshot from testcard c for you.

Thanks to Malcolm who emailed me the testcard with my name.

An electronic switch for the color trap makes full resolution possible!
I thaught about making a burst detector, but I did not find a one
IC solution until now.

So I decided to use the switching voltage of the scart connector.
Sources like the satellite receiver, DVBT,vcr etc. using a composite video
signal, do have a switching voltage on pin 8.

Scart adapters from your camera with YC output don't have this voltage.

How do you like this idea?

I copied the testcard c on SVCD and played it back in my DVD player.

I connected the output of my DVD player via 75 Ohms cable(!) from the
RCA "Y" output to the RCA input of my converter.

The filter of the color trap works very fine. I don't know the english
name for it. (german: versteilerter Tiefpass)
You can see some screenshots from the oscilloscope with the trap
switched on and off.

Kind regards
Darius
