VHS to DVD picture but no sound
Trying to transfer Vhs to DVD-R using a Hitachi DVD recorder DV-RV8500E.
I purchased this new several years ago and have never used it for recording on to DVD but now I want transfer Vhs tapes to DVD and as the title suggests I have managed to get it to record the video but there is no sound, does anybody have any experience using this machine and may know why the sound is not being recorded? |

It's OK there is sound it just wouldn't play on the device I was using for some reason, playing it back on another device and all is well.
