Pye CT450 used as a donor set for philips G22C706/01?
Can the Pye CT450 be used as a donor set for a gutted Philips G22C706/01?
(it still has its original controls and speaker) |

The main chassis, which I think is the G11, should not be a problem especially if the tube is of the same size. Where you may get problems is with the customer user control panel which may have different fittings and the speaker size may be different.
I always preferred the Pye cabinet style G11 to that of Philips.

The CT450 was a basic set whereas the 706 was full remote with Teletext. You can probably make a usable set though.

Hi Wasn't it an A56-500X, or more usually an A56-510X with slightly different heater current? Both 20AX system.
