Off topic posts in Sales and Wants
Off Topic posts. This is a particular problem in Sales and want threads, but it’s become an epidemic. ( named by one Mod as the Zombie Apocalypse) As an example: someone wants a Bush Model xxxx. Reply post I had one of those fantastic set, no idea what happened to it. Is this any use to the member looking to purchase this set? You can link to a Sale on eBay, Facebook Marketplace, or even Freecycle.
Tales of derring-do have their place and are interesting to many members but don’t put them in sales and wants, start a new thread in an appropriate section. Sales and wants are regularly removed so you carefully crafted post will be lost. Post should be relevant to the topic and don’t rely on the “last post” it may have little in common with the origins of the thread. Rather than morph a thread just start a new one. If you see something interesting and want to comment you can start a new thread and link to the thread which sparked your interest. Off topic posts will just be deleted without notice. Cheers Mike T

Re: Off topic posts in Sales and Wants
Bumping this as we have had an increase in posts in sales and wants that do not help the OP's.
Cheers Mike T
