Default BVWS December bulletin

I have just spoken to the printers and the December bulletin has been printed and will be posted soon.

The renewal slips will be enclosed, and you can renew by post or online at https://membership.bvws.org.uk/secti...ership-renewal

Any problems or queries let me know and I will sort it out.

Merry Christmas to all

Nice to see my Garrard 4HF and my friends microphones at the Audiojumble (page 53).

One small plea ; can the calendar be rotated 90 degrees before insertion into envelope so the spine lines up with the magazine. This prevents the calendar getting bent (again).

Mine landed on the doormat this morning. I heard the postman do his best to jam it through my standard size letterbox. Result - a bent calendar (again). So yes, please can we have the calendar spine along the long axis of the envelope.

Anyway, looks like there's some good reading matter to curl up with. Thanks to all the team for continuing to produce such a high quality magazine.

Mine's arrived unscathed - looks like another great Bulletin, with an eclectic range of articles and a really nice Calendar too. Hopefully, re-branding the NVCF as 'RetrotechUK' will attract more visitors.

Just heard a crumpling sound from my letter box as I read this.

Mine has arrived, the top of the magazine is a little creased as a result, but that won't spoil a good read. Calendar undamaged.

Looking forward to the 'Carry on Trucking' centre page spread.

Mine arrived this morning too, all in good condition (the letter boxes at our apartments are big enough for A4 to fit into without bending). Looking forward to reading it over the next few days.

If the bulletin or calendar are too badly damaged please contact the membership secretary who can send replacements, or you could collect them at an event if that's easier.

Mine arrived this morning, all in perfect condition. A good read definitely anticipated!

Anybody else appreciate the beautiful smell of shiny paper? Rare to find that today, although years ago it was common and actually slightly nicer. I believe it is the china content.

Peter.

Mine was all over the hallway, perfect nick, the envelope got stuck in the letterbox bottom side up and emptied itself. Looking forward to reading it and renewing my membership.

Hi,
well mine has turned up safely. Luckily ( this time ) the post man knocked on the door rather than try to put it through the letter box.

Mine arrived yesterday but the envelope was open, I hope there is nothing missing. Is there a list of what what was in the envelope just to make sure?

The magazine itself, the calendar and six A4 sheets. Nothing small.
