Pye Component Analyzer
This is an R-C bridge which I have been working on and using recently. It appears to be reasonably accurate, though I will need to check the values of the R and C standards.
There doesn't seem to be a circuit diagram anywhere for it, so I have done my best to draw one using TinyCAD. One of the problems I had is that it actually has a twelve-position switch with three wafers, one giving different standards for R and C, one operating lamps to show which band is in use and one giving different series resistances for capacitor leakage tests. I've shown this as SW1 A, B and C, but only the terminals actually in use. Anyway, here's the result so far - I'd be interested to hear and comments, and still more interested to hear of anyone who would like to tidy up my novice efforts! I'd be happy to share the .dsn file but the system won't let me upload it here. |

Re: Pye Component Analyzer
Have you checked what the manual is here?
https://www.radiomuseum.org/r/pye_co...zer_94383.html There isn't a schematic, but it might have other useful info. |
