Set of three Ivalek SW coils
I found these in a box of miscellaneous stuff I was given. Three coils each with 2 windings to fit 4 pin B4 type valve holder, presumably for a simple SW receiver with reaction. Does anyone have any info, I only know of Ivalek crystal sets.

Re: Set of three Ivalek SW coils
The web page at https://www.bertibenis.it/Radio%20a%...ek%201%20E.htm describes the Ivalek crystal set but the caption also includes the statement: "... The cabinet of this radio is similar to the one of tube radio but it’s smaller" - which (although rather oddly worded) implies that there was an Ivalek valve receiver.

Re: Set of three Ivalek SW coils
Also, these Ivalek coils were advertised - see https://worldradiohistory.com/hd2/ID...-02-IDX-60.pdf - but by M. Allen Radio and not directly by Ivalek. See also Lot 86 for a 2008 BVWS auction at https://www.bvws.org.uk/auctions/res...assett-special

Re: Set of three Ivalek SW coils
Thanks for the information, Peter, a bit earlier than I thought (1948). It would be interesting to know if any commercial receivers or kit set designs used these or if they were only used by amateur constructors.
