Default ISO-TECH IPS2250 fault

I rather stupidly let the smoke out of one channel of my IPS2250 power supply.

I've removed the covers and released the front and rear panels and have seen a burned resistor on the front PCB between the board and the front panel. It seems that the only way to get the front panel off the PCB is to unsolder the 4mm sockets. Does anyone know if this is the correct method?
