Hi
Another piece of kit too heavy for the move! The only cost would be the postage. Powered it up and all seems fine - not calibrated probably. Cheers James |

Good evening,
I am certainly interested in this though it would need to be posted though. What would you estimate the postage to be. Many thanks, Christopher Capener

Hi
Another item I didn't think would be at all popular - and I assumed that all the responses would be on the public forum! To be fair this time round I'll wait a day or two and draw names from a hat, meantime I'll weight it and work out the postage. Cheers James |

Good lord, I paid about £200 for mine ~ 20 years ago and even then that was probably a fraction of its original cost. There is one significant limitation - it only goes down to 10Mhz, no lower.
I don't suppose you have the specific circuit diagrams for it, James? The diagrams for the similar PSG520 are quite widely available, but for the SSG520, never seen. |

I have an SSG520 with the manual which includes the circuit diagrams. Although it's lower frequency is specified as 10MHz I've found it will go down to around 8MHz before it loses lock. I also have the companion IEEE488 interface again with the manual but no interconnecting cable.
I've scanned the manual but it's too large to post here. PM me if you need a copy. Keith |

Hi
Have a look at the pic of the item - it states 100kHz to 250MHz and it's a PSG520H if that makes any difference. Cheers James |

Ah, my apologies James, I thought it was an SSG like mine. The SSG is the older version, I believe.
Keith, I may take you up on that offer as mine has a minor fault which I've always put off tackling due to the excuse of not having the exact diagrams. Anyway, back over to James and his PSG520. |

I have my own scanned pdf copies of the PSG520 (includes the H down converter) if the successful recipient needs them. Just pm me.

Kind of you Guy but this one doesn't have that feature, all of what it does is on the front panel
I will get my g/f to draw a name from the hat on Sunday. Cheers James |
