Default New Torch

Got myself a new torch (one of those posh LED ones, very good indeed, variable beam width and bright)

Worrying about leaking cells (2xC) I made a plastic sleeve to fit in the battery tube, worries over, the tube also unscrews at the top end making removal of a stuck pair of cells easy.

Default Re: New Torch

I imagine a link was removed by the mod there but I agree that having an LED torch to hand is a must. They're cheap enough. I have a good bench light (illuminated magnifier), as well as one for my head, but I often reach for the torch to see into dark corners, especially in a deep chassis.
