Default Mobile phone interruptor

Does anyone have an oscillator circuit that can prevent people using their mobile phones on the seat opposite me in a train? A short range device would be fine. Or is this a forbidden concept?

They were made, possibly still are, but they're illegal. A theatre that used one to stop nuisance ringing during performances was prosecuted ISTR.

You need much more than a simple oscillator to jam mobile phones, and as Bill says, it's highly illegal anyway. Discussion of mobile phone jammers is a contravention of forum rules. This thread is closed.
