Symbols in Subscribed Threads
On the LH side are two columns, one for the status of the thread and there is a code for the icons. The other column is mostly a page-of-text icon, but occasionally can be a yellow smiley or a question mark in a blue circle.
What do these mean?

Underneath your Message there are Post Icons
If you wish you can select one to show how your feeling about the post or thread. Normally No Icon is shown unless you select one Cheers Mike T

Re: Symbols in Subscribed Threads
I think you have to be actually creating your post text and have clicked "Go Advanced"
If I'm right, this one should have a red grumpy one. EDIT: Yup, that worked. The pick field isn't there if you just type into the quick reply box. David

Re: Symbols in Subscribed Threads
It is relating to the first post in the thread you are subscribed to. For example, if you were subscribed to this particular thread:-
https://www.vintage-radio.net/forum/...d.php?t=172418 You would have a question mark in the second colum, because the starter of the thread entered a ? icon when starting the thread. I believe they are generally meant to be used by posters to signify graphically the theme of the post, these are the limited options. Clear as mud. Adrian |

Re: Symbols in Subscribed Threads
I've never really looked at that, but here's a screenshot from mine.
The left column shows how many posts you had in the thread (hover over it) and the date of the last one, unless the thread is closed. The right one displays the piccy in the thread title, if it has one |

I have now found information on it under "Board FAQ" so will have a good read of that.

Re: Symbols in Subscribed Threads
It would be very helpful to move most of my subscribed threads into different folders.
I've created the folders I want to use but how do we move them from the main page? Do you have to subscribe again and delete from the main page?

Re: Symbols in Subscribed Threads
Select the entry using the tick box on the right, then on the bottom banner, move to folder.

Re: Symbols in Subscribed Threads
Brill! Thanks Bill, I'm up and running
It's a 2-stage process, 2nd stage is where you select which folder
