That's the one. Certainly surprised me but I guess it's not too strange for a manufacturer of leading edge motor driven equipment to expand into fans and tape recorders. Peter |

I didn't know Scophony-Baird made tape recorders until it was pointed out here. I only came across the two names linked when I was trying to find more about the MRG Television Set mentioned in "Vintage Television and Video" above.
Someone should compile a list of 'non-mainstream' products from familiar manufacturers. I have seen an 'HMV' fan heater, and one from Philco, and I have somewhere a Boosey & Hawkes wire recorder. |
