Hi Neil,

Thanks for the helpful comment - and yes, two years on, I'm still experimenting with the project from time to time.

My latest "distraction" is re-capping a Halicrafter S20R - has any-one on the Forum any general advice on this? Or on restoration tips?

Almost all the caps on this long un-used attic find are original - so will probably replace the lot.

Should the same blanket-replacement apply to resistors?

Thanks, E17KA - I'll look at the latest PW. I have - with mixed success - been experimenting with home-wound SW plug-in coils based on an Octal valve base and matching valve "plugs".
