Beocenter 2002
Hi All,
i'm trying to repair a Beocentre 2002 where one of the output modules has failed. Its a Sanken SI1125 and it is not available for love nor money. I'm thinking of modifying the music centre to use another chip, something like an STK... Has anyone done this and which chip did you use? |

Re: Beocentre 2002
Hi Mike,
I might just have a complete system in the loft, not sure if I still have it or not ,but will check tomorrow when the gales have eased. (I hope.) Mike. |

Re: Beocentre 2002
Just had a look at a few images but think mine must be the Beomaster amp.

Re: Beocenter 2002
Hi!
There are very limited supplies of these Sanken SI–1125 output modules on eBay but the prices are ruinous! However there's a chap who's designed a drop in module using 2 X LM3886 power chips – will one of these get your Beocenter going more economically? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/293273815047 Note:- You might have to remove/short circuit a coupeoling capacitor in the Beocenter to use one of these replacement modules – I believe the seller provides advice on this with a purchase!
