Thanks very much Uncle Bulgaria. I have looked at woven insect mesh and expanded metal mesh. But had not seen this site with micro mesh, you may have solved my problem I will email them, but with it being the weekend probably wont get a reply till Monday. Regarding picture of mesh I uploaded, The mesh is actually a tighter knit than the photo shows. Thanks again for links.

Sorry I can not help. John Birkett Lincoln was selling that style of grill but a little longer and narrower width.

What size was he selling John, at a push I could knock 10mm of the width.

A few months back, I read a thread on this Website where someone needed a fine mesh screen.
Another poster suggested a frying spatter shield from the Pound store.
I thought it was a great idea, but it might not be big enough for your need.

80mm x 240mm just had a look, it is different to what yo need. It has rows of miniature slots, made for transistor sets.

Thanks for checking John. I have ordered a piece of Ebay, not to sure about it hard to tell with online pictures, and also waiting for a reply from another company.

If you get stuck I salvaged this fine mesh out of a cooker hood grill. Thinking some day it would be useful It’s only slightly dirty and should clean up .
I don’t do millimetres so size in inches. Andy
