For the case, perhaps a saddler as cobblers only cobble ( sorry an old joke from my late dad ,who was a shoemaker, and looked down on cobblers) as the bloke you'd need would be an old time served Shoemaker ( something I suspect is a dead art as far as the real specialists). The stitches possibly could be repaired with lacing twine- looks as good, but the wax is not as waterproof as the origonal. But you'd need special awls and something to help the twine through the hole ( the old guys used something they called a hogs bristle supposedly made from a Hogs whiskers).
