Unknown Valve Radio
Anyone know much about this as there is no marking, looks like a few valves are missing.
Few parts on the board are Telsen ratio 5-1 radiogrand audio transformer and Ferranti Output Transformer OP3 Last edited by AC/HL; 18th Dec 2018 at 9:12 pm. Reason: Images uploaded |

Re: Unknown Valve Radio
It is a home made radio from a mixture of parts that were available in catalogues such as "Browns"

Re: Unknown Valve Radio
Hi Scott, without too much work you should be able to get it working.
Modernish (1950's) valves will suffice to get it working. Ed |

Re: Unknown Valve Radio
It looks like a basic detector and 2 L.F. circuit, and easy to trace out. I can't see anything missing (unconnected terminals or wires going nowhere).
As Ed says, it should be easy to get working. Assuming all the transformer windings are intact, of course. You will need a loudspeaker with an output transformer, or headphones. Tony. |
