Default Wireless and Electronics books - FOC

Before these go to the local charity shop (and thence, I fear, straight for pulping), would anyone like any?

I'll need the postage re-imbursing (or collect them from Cheltenham), but am happy to post via Royal Mail; other than that, they're free.

Most of the books in fair to good codition, with the exception of Bleaney and Bleaney.

Introduction to Electricity and Radio (Turney; 400g)
The Art of Wireless (Stranger; 1Kg)
Modern Radio communication Vols I and II (Reyner; 700g)
Radio Laboratory Handbook (Scroggie; 300g)
Wireless for Beginners (Boltz; 270g)
Alternating Current work (Maycock; 410g)
Problems in Radio Engineering (Rapson; 250g)
Radio Vols 1 and 3 (!!) (Tucker and Atkinson; 540g)
Electricity and Magnetism (Bleaney and Bleaney; 1.65Kg)
Radio Television and Electrical Repairs (3rd edition, 1959; 700g)
Electronics in Photography (Wels; 280g)
Guide to Broadcasting Stations (WW, 17th edition; 190g)

5 copies of Handbook of Wireless Telegraphy, Vol I (Admiralty; 565g)
3 copies of Handbook of Wireless Telegraphy, Vol II (Admiralty; 880g)

I'll keep them available until midnight 20th March + take any left to the charity shop a week from today.

It would be a crying shame if your copy of the Radio Laboratory Handbook was destroyed. I have two copies here: the 8th. edition and an earlier one. This book provides for a fascinating and very informative read - in Mr. Scroggie's inimitable style, of course!
IMHO, every radio & electronics workshop should have a copy.

I'd also like to be hatted for Scroggie.

Had a copy decades ago but lost in a divorce move!

Thanks, all, for the responses so far.

I should have said that I will run a 'hat' process, to give a chance to those not able to access the forum during the day. I'll draw lots next Thursday morning.

I'd be interested in: The Art of Wireless (Stranger; 1Kg). I have his' Outline' and it's good. Possibly the Boltz too - I have his 'Everyman's Wireless'.

Hi,

Could I go into the hat for "Wireless for Beginners (Boltz; 270g)" please? I had a copy of this fine book given to me years ago by Gerry Wells, but foolishly discarded it at some stage, and would love to re-read it. I may even understand a bit more of it this time!

Happy to cover P&P etc, of course.

Thanks,

Colin

Tony,
Thanks for pointing that out. I promise to do a more thorough job before exercising any hats!
