Very close Graham. The ornamentation isn't exactly the same. First photo is mine, second Jennings Bros as in the link Graham provided.

I think Lawrence (post 14) is right - his link shows a pair of nutcrackers with ends similar to 3&4. Those tools seem rather large for small nuts, but they are similar.

Several of these just appeared out of nowhere in the workshop years ago, i still have them, I'm not exactly sure of their purpose either but they look like clay modellers tools to me, I've never found a practical use for them.
