Default Musical or medical headphones?

Came across these with slight wonderment. The wires plug into the receptacles which in turn are also plug in. One is stereo whereas the other is mono. Does anyone recognise the obscure lettering; they were apparently made in Holland.

Sometimes known as a Stethoset, and yes, used primarily for audio typing, which was the original purpose of the compact cassette.
Interesting that the box shows both speaker and mic symbols - is one of the connections for a built-in mic, by any chance?

I have got a germanium transistor dictating machine that has a combined speaker/mic.
It also has an older version of those head phones.

Actually, I was of the impression that the two round receptacles were in fact mic's; the attached pic refers. These are then connected to the 3 pin male RCA.
If anyone has a use for them noting that one has a clean break they are welcome to them.

According to a copy of an accessories leaflet I'm looking at, the EL3775/36 was made to compliment the Philips EL3534 reel to reel and the RA9547 (Radiola re badge?)

Google: Haut-parleur, diffuseur Philips el3775

to find a copy, the leaflet is in French, someone else can translate.

Lawrence.

I am sure they are Philips, the 2 pin plug in one of the photos was used by Philips on their tape recorders, etc.

I have an EL3534 and several other Philips tape recorders so I could make use of them if you are offering them.

Hi Tony, pm your address and I'll post them to you FOC. All I would ask is if you could put an equal amount for the postage in a Brook or Dogs trust box. You will excuse me if I do not use Xmas wrapping paper.

No, they are earpieces, with detachable plugs (one hole bigger than 'tother)

The unit should have a 3 or 5 pin DIN plug on the end of the lead that plugs into the transcriber unit.
