Default Roberts RCS80 crackling volume control

Good evening, This is my first message. I have a Roberts RCS80 that has a crackling volume knob. Do I pull off the volume knob and spray with switch cleaner to solve the problem. The RCS80 is in a excellent condition. Thanks.

You will need to remove the chassis from the case in order to get at the volume pot. The handle has to be removed then the handle retaining screws. You should be able to ease it out enough to get at the control.

Good luck

Graham

Thanks very much for your help. Will give it a go and clean the inside while inside. Thanks.
