As a suggestion, when several people are interested in an item you are offering, don't necessarily give/sell it to the first person to respond. How about waiting 24 hours and then choosing someone - maybe at random, or maybe the easiest to arrange the collection/delivery with?
That would make it less of a race and give those who weren't online when you posted a chance too. This is just a suggestion of course; it's up to you who gets it and how you decide. ![]() |

Bumping this as it's a year old.

Bumping again as some people still seem to think it is first-past-the-post, and some people have subscribed to this section with instant email notifications to make sure they can jump in first.
If you are offering, please allow people a chance and don't always go with the first to reply. If you are wanting, please don't be greedy. |

Bumping this again as it has been discussed in a recent thread here.
It is of course up to the vendor/donor how to decide who gets the items, but I feel something that allows all interested parties an equal chance is better than just going with whoever jumps in first. |
